No, of course I wouldn’t jump, but when it comes to documenting life via a blog, seems like all the cool kids are taking part. Why shouldn’t I?

So, introductions. I’m 23 and nearly eight months into marriage; I love every moment of my time with David. Sure we have our struggles, but doesn’t everyone? David’s an awesome second place in my life. Second, of course, to Jesus. God has done some miraculous things for both David and me through our time knowing Him, and we cannot wait to see what he has in store.

We’re settled here in PA, looking forward to fall and bracing ourselves for the winter ahead. Being a native South Carolinian, the thought of snowfall gets me unabashedly excited, but based on the attitudes of those native to “the Burgh,” I might be in for something crazy intense in a few months.

Time will tell.

I love my friends and my family–as scattered across the world as they may be. Yes. I love and miss you all. Hopefully this will help to keep you more informed about where I am and what I’m up to. Enjoy!

So, why the blog title? (Aside, of course, from the fact that I’m an avid runner.) It’s a reference to 1 Corinthians 9:24-26, “Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step.” (NLT).

I want to live for Christ. To glorify his name. I will run for the prize and bring as many people along with me as I can. Praise God!
